When I chose the name, I wanted to make sure that I chose something short, memorable, and rooted in my family's history. Family history is something that's always been very interesting to me, and I love that we are all the results of hundreds of weddings throughout history. I played around with a lot of options before settling on BODA, which means wedding in Spanish. It checked all the boxes I was looking for; my mother was born in Cuba, and a name like BODA is easy to pronounce in both Spanish and English.
